PRESS RELEASE: Automotive EMC 2003 Exhibition Fully Booked

The exhibition space accompanying the Automotive EMC 2003 conference is fully booked; only 6 weeks after booking forms were made available on-line. The exhibition was originally added to the Automotive EMC 2003 conference plans at the request of many of the EMC service providers who supply the automotive industry. Some of the best known names in the EMC test, service and equipment supply industry are exhibiting at the event being held on 6th November at the Marriot-Courtyard Hotel in Milton Keynes.

"The Automotive EMC 2003 conference and exhibition offers a highly focused event for both exhibitors and delegates. It is my belief that this niche focus, plus the demise of EuroEMC in the late 1990's and the cost of exhibiting at more general exhibitions, such as NEPCON, has helped the Automotive EMC exhibition become so popular in its first year." So says Martin O'Hara, the conference organiser and chairman. "The exhibition and conference are being run on a not-for-profit basis, this has enabled the Automotive EMC network to offer low cost exhibition space. In turn the exhibition has helped partly pay for the conference room hire and maintained a low the delegate fee of £100."

The conference is also rapidly booking up, although spaces are still available and booking forms are also posted on-line (www.AutoEMC.net). "The conference is the main focus of the event and has attracted some of the best industry speakers, representing automotive OEM's, design consultancies, EMC test suppliers, equipment suppliers and research institutions." continues O'Hara. "The delegates will be hearing speakers from the UK, Germany and Japan provide the latest information on the European Automotive EMC directive 95/54/EC, simulations of components and whole vehicles, independent measurements from several vehicles on the road today and the impact of future automotive technologies on EMC." The full agenda has been posted on the Automotive EMC netowrk website along with information on the exhibition and its exhibitors.

The conference proceedings are to be supplied on CD-ROM, this includes the 160 page PDF file of the conference papers, a separate 159 page PDF file containing all the presentations at the conference, speaker biographies, exhibitor information, sponsors details and contact information for the Automotive EMC network. The CD-ROM includes a HTML based index allowing papers and presentations to be individually accessed.
