PRESS RELEASE: Automotive EMC 2005 Moves to Germany
The annual Automotive EMC Conference will this year move to Germany for the first time, running on 11th May 2005 in Nuremberg, alongside the well established SENSOR+TEST Exhibition.
The
automotive EMC network had planned to bring its conference to Germany from its
inception in 2003, alternating between the UK and Germany in a two year cycle.
It is recognised that while the UK has one of the best developed EMC markets in
Europe, Germany is the best automotive tier 1 supplier market with the largest
number of indigenous automotive manufacturers in Europe. This combination makes
Germany and the UK the natural homes for a niche technical conference on
Automotive EMC.
The association of Automotive EMC with the SENSOR+TEST exhibition came from the desire to co-locate the conference with an existing exhibition that provided complimentary services. The engineers and managers who attend the Automotive EMC conference are often involved in the outsourcing of other test services featured at SENSOR+TEST. The EMC test service providers who support the Automotive EMC Network represent a technical sector of the test market that is currently under represented by the other automotive test services at the SENSOR+TEST exhibition.
There
is additionally a natural synergy with Automotive EMC and the Crash Tech and the
Environmental Testing and Engineering conferences also co-located at the
SENSOR+TEST exhibition. All are concerned with different aspects of the
homologation of vehicles and their components. Hence the SENSOR+TEST exhibition
provides a logical home for the Automotive EMC conference and the Automotive EMC
network are delighted to be coming to Nuremberg in May 2005.
