Automotive Systems, Networking and Telematics Seminar

At The University Of Warwick on Wednesday, 17th March 2004

Hitex and Warwick Control Technologies will present a one-day technical seminar for developers of automotive and related systems on the 17th March 2004 at the University Of Warwick. The main focus of the day is on the latest developments in automotive microcontrollers, vehicle networking and telematics. For engineers working in other fields, technologies in the automotive field often migrate into the broad mass of industry so this could be a useful window into the future of embedded systems.

We have gathered together a unique selection of the world's leading suppliers in the field of embedded system software and hardware components.  Over the course of the day there will be presentations covering:

- USING FLEX RAY FOR VEHICLE FLY-BY-WIRE CONTROL

- MOST(R) VEHICLE MULTIMEDIA BUS

- TELEMATICS FOR REMOTE VEHICLE LOCATING AND DATA ACQUISITION

- NEW INFINEON AND PHILIPS FLASH MICROCONTROLLERS FOR AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS

- WHOLE VEHICLE SIMULATION

- NEW VEHICLE POWER DISTRIBUTION STANDARDS

- AUTOCODING

The emphasis will be on technical content and there will be a chance to discuss your project with our technical specialists. Throughout the day there will be a mini-exhibition of table-top displays provided by the presenting and related companies.
